Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit requiring telemetry certification and preference for chemotherapy administration experience.

Details

• Work in a Medical Telemetry Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:45-07:15)
• Care involves telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips (limited titration), and nurse-driven protocols to assist patient throughput
• Handle cardiac interventional procedures including TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, lead extraction, TR Bands, complex PCI angiogram, dysrhythmias, and vascular procedures
• Care for patients receiving hemodialysis and chemotherapy infusions, as well as pre-open heart cases
• Uses Epic EMR and experience with Epic is required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Experience working in trauma level I or II settings required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• No block schedule requests will be accommodated
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off (RTO) allowed for consideration
• Responsibilities include administering or assisting with infusion therapies, specialized cardiac procedures, and complex vascular care
• Must be comfortable supporting patient care for both oncology and cardiac populations
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
