American Traveler is hiring a Wound/Ostomy Care RN with Epic experience and a WA or compact RN license for a rehabilitation setting.

Details

• Work in a rehabilitation hospital primarily within the Wound Care unit
• Patient ratios are typically 10-12 per nurse
• Allied staff float between units as required
• Block scheduling is available, with shifts of either 8 or 10 hours on weekdays only
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR system and experience is required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy Certification required
• At least 2 years of RN experience in a comparable specialty or setting
• Experience using Epic EMR is required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty
• Social Security card and driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide wound and ostomy care management in a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation environment
• Floating to all facilities within the state is expected and refusal to float may result in termination
• Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable
• No cost for parking on site
• Former permanent staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is strongly preferred; all time off must be requested at submission
