American Traveler is seeking an RN Case Manager with at least two years of inpatient acute care experience, current WA or compact RN license, and BLS certification.

• Work in an inpatient case management role within an acute care hospital
• Serves a diverse unit population including ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, and Adult Medical
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Required to work every other weekend in alignment with facility needs
• Floating between like units and facilities within the state is required
• Epic EMR is used in this setting

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required at time of application
• Current BLS certification required
• At least two years of recent inpatient acute care hospital experience required
• Behavioral health, outpatient, and BH experience do not meet requirements
• Experience with Epic charting is required
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

• Responsibilities include managing inpatient case loads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• The hospital serves a large rural area with limited resources and is the only acute care facility within a five-county region
• First-time travelers are considered if they have strong acute care experience
• Former permanent staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler
• Time off requests should be limited and all must be submitted at time of application
• Team members are expected to be flexible with floating to meet facility needs
