American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical need position in California requiring active CA licensure and recent ICU experience.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic as the EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ICU RN experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of application
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering critical care to ICU patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must comply with hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care
• Internal policy limits assignments to two years before a mandatory 90-day break
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Epic charting experience is beneficial
• Candidates must provide proof of COVID and flu vaccination if required
