American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN with an active VT or compact RN license for a day shift at a critical access hospital.

Details

• Position is in a critical access hospital setting
• Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations, including adult, ortho, peds, observation, and step down
• Day shift schedule with varied hours
• Patient types may include Med-Surg, Ortho, Peds, Observation, Special Care, and Step Down

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC)
• De-escalation training required prior to start or a booked course at clinical orientation
• Previous experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing required

Additional Information

• Provide direct, age-specific care utilizing the nursing process under specialty and state standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other staff levels
• Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations is required
