Description

American Traveler is seeking a Case Manager RN with an active AK RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of acute care and Epic experience.

Details

• Position is in an acute care hospital on the Case Manager unit
• Day shift schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, with start times varying between 0700 and 0830
• Weekend work required, either every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule
• Candidates will float within scope as needed across all facilities within the state
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR utilized; prior Epic experience is required

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required at time of application
• BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACM certification preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Provide case management services in an acute care hospital environment
• Work in a Magnet-recognized, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Scrubs are provided at this facility

• Minimal to no RTO allowed; only one time off request (five days or less) per 13-week contract and no holiday RTO for Auto Offer positions
• Must be prepared to float between all facility locations as assigned
