American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with an active AK RN license and acute care background for a day shift role.

Details

• Position is in an acute hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Level II Trauma Center and Magnet-designated facility
• Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Weekend requirement includes every other weekend or four weekend days in a four week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float may be required within scope to meet facility needs, including across facilities within the state
• Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• ACM certification preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Previous permanent staff must have a minimum 3-month separation before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• Responsible for case management of acute care patients
• Must be prepared to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Only one time off request of 5 days or less is allowed per 13-week assignment, and no holiday time off requests are permitted for this position
• References from two supervisors covering at least one year of employment in a similar setting are required
