American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN in Oklahoma with recent pediatric psychiatric experience for day shifts and every other weekend.

Details

• Work in a behavioral health setting caring for patients with mental health conditions
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12 hours per shift
• Requires working every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient population includes children and adolescents

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required and must be current at time of consideration
• Minimum 6 months of experience in child behavioral health
• BLS certification from AHA required prior to start
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
• Handle with Care certification preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, crisis intervention, and therapeutic communication
• Monitor patient safety and well-being while maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and care
• No limit on considering local candidates, but compensation may vary
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off (RTO) allowed
