American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with endoscopy experience and active VT or compact RN license for a day shift position.

Details

• Position located in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Works with multidisciplinary perioperative team
• Services include Dental, Endoscopy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology
• Primary patient population includes general OR and heavy ortho cases
• Expected to function in both circulating and scrub roles
• Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating call during weeknights and weekends is required
• Holiday call coverage required
• Must be willing to float to units where experienced
• Uses Cerner EMR; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum of one year recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong circulating and scrub experience in endoscopy required
• Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
• CNOR certification highly preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Resume listing all departments worked, recent OR skills checklist, and two recent supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Will participate in both circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities
• Fast-paced environment with significant orthopedic caseload
• No DaVinci robot, spine, vascular, or cardiac surgery required
• Only five days of requested time off allowed during the contract
• Holiday and call schedule will be determined by the facility
