American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position requiring a compact or NC nursing license and recent orthopedic experience.

Details

• Position is in the Orthopedics unit (ORTHO 6J) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Thirteen-week assignment
• Care provided to orthopedic patients on a Med/Surg floor

Requirements

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent orthopedic Med/Surg RN experience
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• References required in accordance with state of licensure

Additional Information

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Must provide care for post-operative orthopedic patients including monitoring, medication administration, and coordination of recovery plans
• First day attire and scrub color based on hospital departmental standards
• Assignment may require working with a multidisciplinary team
