Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with Epic proficiency and a compact or VA RN license for night shifts in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital setting on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with options for either 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Every other weekend, holiday, and float requirements within the contract
• Patient ratios are 1:7
• Care provided for neurology and stroke patients
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license in hand is required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience
• Prior travel nursing experience is required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS
• Must be proficient in IV starts and telemetry interpretation
• Experience working with neurology and stroke patients is required
• No background or license hits will be considered

Additional Information

• Responsible for caring for Med/Surg telemetry patients, including those with neurological diagnoses
• Holiday coverage and floating within the facility are required
• Must be comfortable with fast-paced and high patient ratio environment
• Night shifts and weekend work expected
• Two professional references are required for consideration
