American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position, requiring intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient care focused on laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
• 13-week travel assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Current NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification from American Academy of Pediatrics required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Submission of U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference requirements vary by state (Florida and Missouri require two references; all other states require one)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum experience
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a busy and supportive hospital environment
• Documentation of all certifications and licenses required upon onboarding
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted for compliance
• All certifications must be valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
