American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Adult Psychiatric unit, requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and Crisis Prevention Intervention certification.

Details

• Work in an adult psychiatric inpatient unit
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population consists of adult behavioral health cases

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent psychiatric RN experience
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in place of CPI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• No local candidates will be accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Professional reference requirements vary by state
• Responsibilities include managing the care of adult behavioral health patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• All certifications must be valid and not expire within 30 days of contract start
