Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift position in the Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) requiring a compact RN license and ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient population includes surgical and trauma ICU cases

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• A minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA or ARC
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (Florida and Missouri require two)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted

Additional Information

• Role involves providing critical care to surgical and trauma patients in a high-acuity unit
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as needed
• Specific documentation will be requested during onboarding as part of the compliance process
