Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with 1.5 years of acute inpatient rehab experience for a night shift position at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Florida, requiring a current RN license and CPR certification.

Details

• Work in an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
• All patients are acute inpatient rehab with an average stay of about 14 days
• Single-unit facility with no floating required
• Uses Cerner for charting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (18:45-07:15)
• Every other weekend required
• Charge nurse coverage may be required as needed

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of inpatient hospital or rehab RN experience required
• Current CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred and required if covering as charge nurse
• Must provide proof of active license at time of applying
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Acute rehab nurse responsibilities including providing care, assessments, and support to patients throughout their recovery
• Expected to assist as a charge nurse as needed
• Navy blue scrubs and closed-toe shoes required
