American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a day shift position requiring a TX or compact license and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, from 6:00 to 14:30
• Call is required as part of the role
• Average caseload of 10-15 patients per day

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required
• References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Up to 7-10 days of requested time off can typically be accommodated if made up at the end of the contract
• Responsibilities include providing perioperative care to cardiovascular surgical patients
• Call rotations are required as part of the daily schedule
