Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for care coordination of stem cell transplant patients, requiring a current CA RN license and Cerner charting experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based case management unit
• Primary patient population is stem cell transplant patients
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No blocked or self-scheduling is permitted
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in an acute care setting
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in case management within the past 2 years
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass an EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year in the relevant specialty

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include care coordination for stem cell transplant patients
• Candidates must not request time off within the first two weeks of the assignment
• No changes to requested time off (RTO) after submission
• Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Submission requires a full 7-year work history with explained gaps
• First time travelers will be considered
