Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift ICU position in Iowa requiring active IA or compact RN licensure and advanced life support certifications.

Details

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with 12-hour shifts
• Every third weekend required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Potential floating within the same discipline across local campuses

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and CPI required
• TNCC certification required
• Proof of driver’s license required
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing and managing care to ICU patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Orientation schedule consists of 16 hours
• Must not have been employed by the client within the last 12 months
• Holiday coverage may be required per unit policy
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
