Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel position, requiring previous travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings and a current NJ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a large hospital
• Patient population includes high-risk obstetric cases
• Night shifts, 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three days per week
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum associate's degree from an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings is required
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing direct patient care, and performing clinical skills relevant to Labor & Delivery
• Must maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient safety protocols
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• Professional conduct and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines are expected
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility—local candidates are not accepted
• Returning travelers may only stay on assignment up to one calendar year and must observe a mandated break before new assignments
