American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for an Operating Room leadership position requiring prior OR management experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room (OR) of an acute care hospital
• Supervise multiple OR locations within the hospital system
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Floating between locations within the hospital system is required
• Epic is the EMR system used and prior Epic experience is mandatory
• Must work every other major holiday

Requirements

• Current MA RN license required, verified by NURSYS showing all RN licenses (past or present)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and CNOR certifications required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room/Perioperative Nurse Manager or supervisory experience in a matching specialty
• Documented prior travel nursing experience is required
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Ability to provide two recent Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty

Additional Information

• Responsible for the supervision and leadership of OR staff and daily perioperative operations
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided
• Flu vaccine required during the season
• Any color scrubs are permitted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be included at time of consideration; additional RTO may not be guaranteed
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
