Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite, requiring ONS Chemo/Bio certification and recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience.

Details

• Work in a Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite
• 30 bed/chair unit with approximately 70 patients per day
• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• ONS Chemo/Bio card required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius
• License must remain active and compliant for the duration of the assignment

Additional Information

• Duties include patient assessment, education, side effect management, monitoring, and emotional support
• Preferred but not required: IV skills, mediport access experience, and pediatric hem/onc experience
