American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown position on night shifts, requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown setting
• Patient population includes intermediate care and stepdown cases
• Level 1 trauma center environment
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required before start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for PCU stepdown patients in a Level 1 trauma center
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training and NIH Certification preferred
• Must work every other weekend as scheduled
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Standard hospital dress code and scrub requirements apply
