Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position in DC requiring a valid DC RN license and at least two years of pediatric OR experience.

Details

• Position is based in the Pediatric Operating Room of a hospital
• Patients may be of any age, including critical care pediatric populations
• Shifts are four 10-hour days per week, Monday through Friday, with a varying weekday off
• No weekend or holiday shifts are required
• Will not float to other units

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required prior to start; pending license considered with proof of application
• Minimum two years of pediatric OR nursing experience required
• No background or license issues permitted
• Professional references must be available upon request
• Non-smoking policy strictly enforced on facility grounds

Additional Information

• Must complete 10-12 hours of self-reported modules before orientation
• A high-resolution photo meeting specified requirements is required after offer acceptance
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning as a traveler
• Compliance must be completed by the Monday prior to start, and no pending compliance items are permitted
• No local radius restrictions and locals are accepted at the same rate
