Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN with a NJ or compact license and at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• Work in a hospital telemetry unit
• Patient ratio is typically 1:6
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Float to other units as required
• Epic EMR is used; previous Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele RN experience required
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have a 1 year separation before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting
• No travel pairs or groups permitted
• First-time travelers will be considered
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• Orientation includes onsite module completion with documentation via transcripts
