Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) day shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Requires flexibility to work every other weekend as needed
• Fifty (50) mile radius rule applies to all travelers
• Telemetry experience preferred

Requirements

• Active ME or compact state RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task required
• Must demonstrate teamwork abilities

Additional Information

• Patient care is provided under supervision of the Unit Director and Charge Nurse
• May be called off or have up to three shifts canceled per 13-week assignment due to census or staffing changes
• Travelers may not exceed two consecutive 13-week assignments per calendar year and must wait at least 26 weeks before returning for another assignment
• Holiday coverage required for Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
