American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology Infusion position requiring recent infusion and chemotherapy experience.

Details

• Work in a Medical Oncology Infusion setting within a cancer institute
• Primary patient population includes individuals with cancer, anemia, and rheumatologic conditions requiring infusions or injections
• Typical patient ratios are 1:3 in a unit with 28 infusion chairs
• Utilizes Epic EMR system, Alaris pumps, and Perfect Serve for communication
• Day shift position with 8-hour shifts starting between 7:30 and 8:30 AM
• Requires work every third weekend, with some flexibility to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license currently held or proof of application for pending license
• Minimum of 2 years total RN experience with recent in- or outpatient infusion experience required
• BLS certification and chemotherapy certification or Biocard required
• Background in hematology/oncology and proficiency in IV therapy and port access required

Additional Information

• Responsible for administering infusions to a primarily oncology patient population
• First-time travelers accepted if they have chemotherapy experience
• Scrubs may be any color or print that is work appropriate
