American Traveler is seeking an experienced RNFA with OH or compact RN license and advanced CVOR and vein harvesting experience for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital OR, primarily with the CVOR, with floating to Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Night shift schedule is 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities will be discussed during the interview
• Involves working with cardiovascular surgical patients and performing vein harvesting

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current RNFA certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVOR experience as a permanent RNFA required prior to travel
• Experience with vein harvesting required
• Two recent manager, ANM, supervisor, or director references in the specialty required
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores

Additional Information

• Completion of additional credentialing through the facility is required to obtain privileges
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return to the facility for 1 year following their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required unless an exception is approved
• Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from the nicotine-free policy
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Annual and pre-start modules are required and tracked through Silkroad
• Float to Main OR as needed based on CVOR case load
