American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Post Partum position in Ohio, requiring a compact or OH RN license and minimum two years of postpartum experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 to 19:30), with every other weekend required
• Floating may be required to units of similar acuity
• Utilizes Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum two years of recent postpartum nursing experience
• Current BLS and IV certification required
• Proficient IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) experience
• Experience using Epic EMR required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing care for postpartum mothers and newborns, including couplet care duties
• Compliance with urgent Ohio fingerprinting process is required for onboarding
• Time off requests must be submitted for contract consideration
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least six months; current employees at OSU hospitals are not eligible for travel roles
