American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with a GA or compact RN license and strong endovascular skills for an operating room role.

Details

• Position is in a hospital operating room, specializing in cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Shifts include AM 10-hour shifts during the week (5 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
• Weekend and holiday shifts are 12 hours, with rotations including one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per month
• Holiday rotation is required, including coverage for weekends surrounding holidays
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 18 months of full-time recent CVOR RN experience within the last 3 years in a similar acuity setting
• Proven proficiency in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures with strong endovascular experience
• Must meet facility's 50-mile radius requirement; local candidates are not eligible
• Former employees must be separated for 1 year prior to returning; if returning to the same facility, an 18-month separation is required

Additional Information

• Team participates in a rotating holiday and weekend schedule
• Responsibilities include providing intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular and vascular cases
• Strict requirements for time off: a maximum of 5 days RTO if not near a holiday, 3 days if it falls near a holiday, and only 1 holiday off request allowed per contract
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrub attire must be in accordance with hospital policy
