Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night-shift ICU position requiring a valid ID or compact RN license and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the 4th floor in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
• No blocked scheduling or special schedule requests accepted

Requirements

• Active ID or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from within the past 3 years
• Copy of active driver's license required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Permanent employees must be away for one year before applying for a travel assignment

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a high-acuity patient population
• 24 hours of orientation provided at the start of assignment
• No local candidates will be considered due to the 50-mile radius rule
• No special scheduling requests or blocked scheduling allowed
• Assignment may require coverage during holidays as needed
