American Traveler is hiring an RN for an outpatient chemo infusion position requiring ONS/ONCC certification and at least one year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient chemo infusion unit at a hospital-affiliated facility
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 to 16:30
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating may occur within the facility or rarely to PWIC as needed
• Patient caseload includes individuals receiving chemotherapy infusions

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• ONS/ONCC certification required
• Minimum one year of RN experience
• Unit accepts first time travelers
• Two supervisory references (manager or above) highly preferred
• Must be able to submit required compliance items and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Information

• Expected to work major holidays occurring within the assignment per facility policy
• No holiday time off requests allowed unless three major holidays occur during the assignment, in which case one holiday RTO may be considered
• Compliance with all facility onboarding and orientation requirements is mandatory
• Modules completed during orientation with transcripts recorded
• Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year if previously employed as perm or PRN staff before returning as a traveler
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed; no RTO in the first week
• Travel pairs are not permitted to be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• No blocked scheduling offered
