Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a TX or compact license and Epic charting proficiency for a 13-week day shift contract.

Details

• Work in a 10-bed ICU within a hospital setting
• Day shifts with a schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Typical patient ratio is 1:2
• Required to float to units of equal or lesser acuity
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience
• Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travelers residing within 50 miles or in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, Morris
• Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• Orientation modules are completed onsite and documented via transcripts
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups are permitted
