American Traveler is seeking a PCU/Telemetry RN with NM or compact RN license and cardiovascular experience for a night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Work in a 55-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Cardiovascular patient population with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Night shifts (4x12 hours, 18:30-07:00), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required as needed on a rotating basis
• Floating to similar units is required based on facility needs
• Uses EPIC documentation system; EPIC experience preferred
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Valid NM or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI preferred
• 1 year of recent PCU experience required (2 years preferred)
• Cardiovascular nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Scrub color is any, but no logos are allowed
• Travelers receive a brief orientation and may be required to complete modules on site during orientation
• Maximum of 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved; no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
