Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a valid NM or compact license for night shifts and floating requirements.

Details

• Position is in the ICU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
• Option of working either 36 or 48 hours per week
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2
• Weekend work is required
• Floating is required to similar units based on facility needs
• Epic charting is preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible

Additional Information

• Travelers will receive brief unit orientation and complete required modules onsite during orientation
• Maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
