Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with advanced telemetry skills for a Med/Surg position on 12-hour night shifts in New Hampshire.

Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit providing care to adult patients
• 12-hour night shifts with three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibility
• Travelers may be required to float to additional locations as needed
• Cerner EMR is used; prior experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Cardizem and insulin drips (for hyperglycemia), and Phenobarbital on telemetry

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered with strong experience
• Weekly orientation is provided
• Permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a local pay rate if within a 50-mile radius
• Three professional references, including two from leadership, are required once committed
