American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position in California requiring a BSN, CA RN license, and ambulatory care experience.

Details

• Ambulatory Care setting within a major academic medical center
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
• Direct patient care including phone triage, rooming, and urgent referral review
• Floating to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius may be required
• May assist with blood draws for PRP and various procedures
• Epic 'In-Basket' program used and experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license is required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU, Med/Surg, or ER experience required
• At least 1 year of recent ambulatory care nursing experience including phone triage, rooming, and urgent referral review is required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required prior to start
• Prior travel RN experience within the last 12 months required

Additional Information

• Ambulatory Otolaryngology experience including care for head, neck conditions, and tracheostomy preferred
• Team members may be reassigned to different departments or facilities as needed
• Blood draw for PRP and procedural assistance preferred
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred
• Completion of online modules required prior to and during employment
• Time off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of offer, with limits on total days
