Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with circulating experience and a valid NH or compact license.

Details

• Operates in a hospital-based Operating Room setting at Level III Trauma
• Day shift, 40 hours per week with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Uses Cerner EMR system; familiarity preferred
• Works primarily in a circulating role, scrub experience is beneficial but not required
• Handles General, OB, Ortho, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology cases

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Proven circulating experience in the Operating Room is required
• Proficiency in General, OB, Ortho, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology surgical cases required
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred
• Submission of a recent Operating Room skills checklist and one supervisory signed reference from the past year
• All licenses and certifications must be current and verifiable

Additional Information

• Position open only to candidates with a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
• Requests for time off must not exceed 3 days
• Trauma Level III environment offering exposure to varied surgical specialties
• Scrub experience is valued but not mandatory for consideration
