Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position in Iowa requiring a compact or IA license and at least two years of recent ICU experience.

Details

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for critically ill adult patients

Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); RQI certifications are not accepted
• Must provide Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation required

Additional Information

• Travelers must live more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time during contract
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills needed for high-acuity environment
