American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with a compact or Arkansas RN license and strong surgical nursing skills.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting with 13 operating rooms
• Handles a high volume of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, urology, and GYN procedures
• Utilizes advanced technology such as a DaVinci Surgical Robot, navigational spinal/ENT equipment, and hybrid OR for vascular procedures
• Day shift schedule (5x8 hours, 6:30-15:00)
• Weekday nights required depending on staffing, with on-call responsibilities and every third weekend (Friday to Sunday) required
• Cerner EMR system used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or compact RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent relevant RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS encouraged but not mandatory
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer literacy required
• Experience with surgical robotics and hybrid OR environments highly valued
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Travel RN experience preferred
• References from 2 supervisors within the last 3 years required
