Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with a TN or compact RN license, BLS certification, and the ability to work night shifts in an adult acute care setting.

Details

• Position is based in a 23-bed Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and older adults (ages 18-60+), with acute medical/surgical conditions requiring inpatient care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6
• Core team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and NIs; RNs are responsible for their assigned patients
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Primary source license verification via Nursys required within 30 days prior to start
• Ability to successfully complete a proctored rhythm test
• US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Driver's license must be provided for consideration

Additional Information

• RNs are responsible for comprehensive care of team-assigned patients
• Team structure includes support from LPNs, PCTs, and nurse interns
• All positions are auto offer
• NIH certification is preferred and must be updated regularly if applicable
• Radius rule applies for local candidates with possible rate adjustment depending on state
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Documentation required includes two references and copies of certifications and licenses
