Description

American Traveler seeks a Pediatric Oncology RN with current chemotherapy certification, NC or compact license, and pediatric chemo experience for day shifts in a hospital setting.

Details

• Work in a pediatric oncology unit of a hospital
• Care for pediatric oncology patients requiring chemotherapy
• Day shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Bi-weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• Current BLS, PALS, and pediatric chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC or APHON) certifications required
• Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• One supervisory reference from within the past year required
• Candidates within a 75-mile radius are eligible

• Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and providing care to pediatric oncology patients
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted
• Modules and training are completed during orientation and annually as needed
• Personal protective equipment and dress code information will be provided during orientation
