Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a hospital Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital OR department with 11 ORs including CVOR and cysto
• Handles primarily adult surgical cases with limited pediatric population
• Performs surgeries in specialties including orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, general, EGS, thoracic, and robotic procedures with DaVinci XI
• Low volume of CVOR cases (0-3 per week) with call required for CVOR only
• Work schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts from 0645 to 1715 with possible 8H, 10H, or 12H shifts based on department needs
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• Travelers are scheduled to work 75% of holidays
• May be floated as needed to another campus in Winston Salem
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Response to call required within 30 minutes, with call room available

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of hospital OR RN experience required
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• NIHSS certification required for Resource Team
• Strong circulation skills needed; no pediatric experience necessary
• Experience with robotic equipment (e.g., DaVinci XI) and Stryker preferred
