American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg unit night shift position in Illinois requiring Epic charting and Level 1 Trauma experience.

Details

• Position is in a Neuro Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes neurological cases and Level 1 Trauma patients
• Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic charting experience required
• No floating or on-call requirements mentioned

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license (temp license accepted)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
• Minimum of one year recent relevant RN experience required; three years preferred
• Documented experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to neuro and trauma patients
• Must complete thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Maintains accurate documentation and communicates effectively with healthcare team members
• Maximum of 7 days RTO (requested time off) permitted per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not work more than one year continuously and must take a 6-month break before returning
• No travel partners accepted for this assignment
