Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position, requiring a MO or compact RN license and advanced cardiac certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Night shift, 12-hours from 1845 to 0715
• First to float to a lesser acuity unit as needed
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Care for high-acuity patients, including management of drips and the use of arterial lines and respiratory equipment such as BiPAP and AIRVO
• Utilizes Altera Sunrise (Allscripts) EMR system; previous experience not required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and BiPAP/AIRVO preferred
• New graduate RNs will not be considered

Additional Information

• Must attend a multi-day orientation, including both TUKHS and Liberty orientations
• Required to work major holidays; schedule may be adjusted for a major holiday off at manager's discretion
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate except for certain locations
• Bi-weekly pay provided
