American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with a current CA license, 1+ years of recent ER experience, and required emergency certifications.

Details

• Work in a busy hospital Emergency Room setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12 hours per shift
• 13-week contract assignment
• Utilizes the Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent Emergency Room experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
• TNCC, CEN, NIHSS certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Additional Information

• Provide high acuity care to adult and pediatric patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• May require handling diverse emergency situations and rapid patient assessment
• Epic EMR experience is an asset
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Complies with hospital vaccination and credentialing requirements
• Must comply with assignment duration limits according to facility policy
