Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a TX or compact license, advanced life support certifications, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
• Schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 4x10 hours from approximately 6:00am to 4:30pm
• On-call shifts are required
• Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab systems is required
• Experience with Altera charting is preferred but not required
• Travel RN experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years’ Cath Lab experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)
• Must live more than 150 miles from the facility or reside in a metropolitan area
• Must have all licenses and certifications in hand at time of consideration
• Drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana and CBD products, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Available to complete lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan for completion

Additional Information

• Modules must be completed during orientation and average 6-8 hours
• Return travelers must be gone for at least one year if previously employed as permanent staff
• Team supports quick completion of lab and documentation requirements
• Must avoid products that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival
