American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU night shift assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring an active IL RN license and ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU, specializing in trauma patients at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month)
• Mandatory float to any unit within scope at facility discretion, including units outside of primary competency
• EMR system Cerner is used
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (pending not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility
• COVID vaccine required

Additional Information

• No block scheduling or special schedule requests allowed
• Maximum of 5 days RTO with no more than 2 consecutive days; no RTO allowed on holidays, weekends, or the day before/after a holiday
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Strict compliance standards must be met
• Navy blue scrubs required and not provided
• Team-based model used when floated outside of primary competency
• Travelers may receive notification to float up to 2 hours before shift
• Locals are accepted and preferred
