Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology Lab (EP) position in Iowa requiring an active IA or compact RN license and a strong EP background.

Details

• Work in an Electrophysiology Lab within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week starting at 7:00 AM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to Iowa Lutheran Hospital as needed
• EMR system is Epic; Epic Cupid experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA/ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 24 months recent experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology required
• Skills checklist specific to EP, Cardiac Cath, or IR required
• Driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must provide one supervisory or charge reference dated within the past two years
• EP experience is required; Cardiac Cath Lab and travel experience preferred
• Required to work up to two major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• Requesting more than one day off between late November and early January is not permitted
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are subject to a local pay policy
