Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with circulator experience and a current NC or compact license for a day shift position.

Details

• Position is in a hospital OR department with 5 active operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms
• Surgical specialties include general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular cases
• Department averages 23 patients per day
• EMR system is Epic
• Day shifts available: 0630-1500 or 0630-1700, Monday through Friday
• Call required every 8th-10th weekend and 1 night during the week, 5 out of 10 weeks
• Travelers required to work 75% of holidays
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Circulator experience in listed surgical specialties required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers are not preferred
