American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position featuring night shifts, call for CVOR, and a supportive teaching hospital environment.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room with 11 ORs including a CVOR and cysto room
• Majority adult patient population with limited pediatrics
• Case types include ortho, neuro, CVOR (CABG, AVR, MVR, aorta repair), urology, GYN, general, EGS, kidney stone procedures, thoracic, and robotic surgeries using the Davinci XI
• EMR system used is Epic
• Night shifts are 10 hours, scheduled from 21:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend rotation is required
• Call responsibilities are for CVOR cases only, primarily on the procedure day with 30-minute response time; call room provided
• May float to Winston Salem campus as needed

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS required for Resource Team
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital OR experience required
• Circulating experience is required; pediatric OR experience is not required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Robotic surgery equipment and Stryker equipment experience preferred
